The Verdicchio Superiore "Gaiospino" by Coroncino is the spearhead of the company founded in 1981 by Lucio Canestrari and his wife. The Farm Coroncino is one of the most beautiful and interesting reality in the Verdicchio of Castelli di Jesi Classico, the area with the oldest wine-making tradition. The company's watchword is " ’N do arrivo metto ‘n segno“: a Roman phrase that means "I do what I can and see how far you are done". The Farm Coroncino is a reality independent, free, who loves wine and producing it exactly as it was once: common sense, experience, and the full respect of nature are fundamental aspects of the company philosophy. The "Gaiospino" represents the peak production of the farm Coroncino; comes from a selection of grapes that are harvested at full maturity. The wine follow two different paths: 20-30% of the wine is fermented in oak barrels of 500 liters and remains on its lees until bottling which takes place after 16-18 months. The Verdicchio Superiore "Gaiospino" by Farm Coroncino is a wine of great structure, an important white and aromatic richness that can’t fail to surprise. The nose gives off a feeling of beautiful apple and citrus, to then leave a space in a beautiful minerality and delicate freshness.
